Made in FrieslandWhy a wooden board is a sustainable gift.
It lasts a long time
The most sustainable gift is one that does not get thrown away. A board made of solid beech lasts for years. If it gets rough after long use, you sand it lightly and oil it again. No veneer, no chipboard, no plastic.
Made in the Netherlands
The boards are made and engraved by hand in a workshop in Friesland, not in a factory on the other side of the world.
Socially made
Every board is made by hand in a training workshop, where people at a distance from the labour market learn a trade. So your gift also creates work. Read our story.
It gets used
A cutting board sits on the worktop every day. With your logo burned into it, your name stays in view there for years, without it feeling like advertising. A pen or a bottle of wine cannot do that.

Questions about sustainable business gifts.
What makes a business gift sustainable?
Mainly that it is used for a long time. The material, where it is made and who makes it count as well. Our boards are solid beech, made in the Netherlands in a training workshop. They last for years.
What wood are the boards made of?
Solid beech. Beech is hard, has a fine grain and is kind to knives. No veneer and no glued offcut board.
Why beech? →Can our logo go on it?
Yes. A logo, name or text is burned in, so it does not come off. This is possible from 25 pieces, or from 10 if the TheWootz logo stays on the front.
More about engraving →Can you deliver to several addresses?
Yes. Delivery to one address or straight to your contacts at home are both possible. Mention it in your request.
What does a sustainable business gift from TheWootz cost?
The price is on request and depends on the quantity, the board and the engraving. Request a quote and you will get a price per piece.
Request a quote →Does it come with care products?
It can. Adding a small bottle of care oil makes the gift complete: the recipient can treat the board properly straight away. Mention it in your request.
