About this product
Your wooden cutting board, butcher block, or serving board deserves complete care, not just oil but the full kit. The TheWootz Care Kit contains everything you need to keep your wooden kitchenware in top condition for years. 100% grapeseed oil, a premium microfibre cloth, and a handmade brush, together in one package.
Everything you need in one package No separate purchases, no hassle with different suppliers. With this kit, you have everything at hand to clean, nourish, and protect your cutting board. The 200 ml pocket flask is the ideal size for those who regularly maintain one or two cutting boards, without needing a large supply of oil at home.
Why grapeseed oil? Grapeseed oil penetrates deeper into the wood than mineral oil and nourishes it from within. It prevents drying out, cracking, and splinters, and restores the wood's natural colour. 100% grapeseed oil, food-safe and odourless, no additives.
Premium microfibre cloth Our 450-gram microfibre cloth with TheWootz engraving feels sturdy in hand, absorbs oil and moisture instantly, and leaves no lint or streaks. The dense fibre structure distributes the oil evenly over the wood without spilling.
Handmade brush The round brush with natural fibres and a wooden handle thoroughly cleans your cutting board without damaging the wood. Perfect for removing food residues and dirt before oiling.
Suitable for all your wooden kitchenware Works on all wood types: oak, beech, acacia, bamboo, and more. Ideal for cutting boards, butcher blocks, serving boards, wooden spoons, and spatulas.

How to care for your board →Everything you want to know.
What is in this set?
TheWootz board oil, 200 ml (100% grapeseed oil), a 40 x 40 cm microfibre cloth and a brush with a beech handle.
What is the microfibre cloth for?
The microfibre cloth (40 x 40 cm, 450 g/m²) is for spreading the oil thinly and evenly and for wiping off excess oil once it has soaked in.
What is the brush for?
The brush with a beech handle works the oil in, right into the pores, the edges and the juice groove, where a cloth does not reach.
How long does 200 ml of oil last?
You use about 20 ml per treatment, so 200 ml is good for ten treatments. If you oil one board twice a month, it lasts about five months.
How do I apply the oil?
Make sure the board is clean and dry, apply a thin layer with a soft cloth or the TheWootz brush and let the oil soak in for 4 hours. Then wipe off whatever has not soaked in with a clean cloth. Give a new board a generous coat the first time and let it soak in overnight.
How do I care for my wooden cutting board?
After use, wash it briefly with warm water and a little washing-up liquid, dry it straight away and leave it to dry upright. Twice a month, give it 20 ml of TheWootz board oil: rub it in thinly with a cloth and let it soak in, five minutes' work. If the wood feels dry or turns dull, do it a little more often. A thin layer of beeswax afterwards seals the wood further. Never in the dishwasher and never left to soak.
