TheWootz Care Duo contains everything you need: 100% grapeseed oil to deeply nourish the wood and a beeswax block of 100% pure beeswax to then seal it with a protective layer. Why oil and wax? Many people only use oil, but that's only half the story. The grapeseed oil penetrates deep into the wood and nourishes the fibers from within. But without a protective layer, that nourishment gradually evaporates and the wood is again exposed to moisture and dirt. The beeswax block creates a thin layer of wax on the surface that repels water, keeps out odors, and maintains the warm luster of the wood.

Usage: make sure the board is clean and dry. First apply a thin layer of grapeseed oil and let it soak in. Then rub the beeswax block directly over the wood, in the direction of the grain. No cloth needed, the warmth of the wood and your hand will do the rest. Let it soak in briefly. For an extra fine finish, you can buff it with a dry cloth. Repeat when the wood becomes dull or water no longer runs off properly.
