Together, they ensure a cutting board that looks new for years.
Why oil AND wax? Many people only use oil, but that's only half the story. The grapeseed oil penetrates deep into the wood, nourishing the fibers from within. The beeswax then seals the surface, protects against moisture and food residues, and gives the wood a beautiful natural shine. Together, they form the perfect care routine.

It prevents drying, cracking, and splintering, and restores the wood's natural color. 100% grapeseed oil, food-safe and odorless, no additives. 100% beeswax 50 g Our beeswax is 100% natural and food-safe. After oiling, apply a thin layer of beeswax to seal and protect the wood from water and dirt. The wax gives the wood a soft natural shine without weighing it down. Odorless and without artificial additives.

How to use the duo
- Clean the board and make sure it is completely dry.
- Apply a thin layer of grapeseed oil with a cloth.
- Let it soak in for 4 hours.
- Wipe off excess oil with a clean cloth.
- Then apply a thin layer of beeswax with a clean cloth.
- Let the wax soak in briefly, then buff with a dry cloth.
- Repeat twice a month, or sooner if the wood feels dry.

What is in this set?
TheWootz board oil, 100 ml (100% grapeseed oil) and beeswax (50 g).
What is the beeswax for?
You apply the beeswax (50 g) in a thin layer after the oil. It seals the pores, so moisture soaks in less quickly and the board gets a nice sheen.
How long does 100 ml of oil last?
You use about 20 ml per treatment, so 100 ml is good for five treatments. If you oil one board twice a month, it lasts about two and a half months.
In what order do I use it?
Oil first: apply a thin layer and let it soak in for 4 hours. Then a thin layer of wax, which seals the oil into the wood.
How do I care for my wooden cutting board?
After use, wash it briefly with warm water and a little washing-up liquid, dry it straight away and leave it to dry upright. Twice a month, give it 20 ml of TheWootz board oil: rub it in thinly with a cloth and let it soak in, five minutes' work. If the wood feels dry or turns dull, do it a little more often. A thin layer of beeswax afterwards seals the wood further. Never in the dishwasher and never left to soak.

What does shipping cost?
Shipping to the Netherlands and Belgium is free from 25 euros. If you order for less, you pay 2,99 euros shipping. A board costs more than 25 euros, so we always ship it free of charge.
Can I return my order?
Yes, you have 14 days to change your mind from the day you receive your order. Let us know, send the product back unused and undamaged in its original packaging, and you get your money back. The cost of returning it is yours.
