Six tins of 50 grams of beeswax, totaling 300 grams. Beeswax gets used up, unlike oil. If you have multiple boards or treat them regularly, six tins will last you a long time. The same Dutch beeswax as in our single tin, now in a set of six.

What does beeswax do that oil doesn't?

Oil nourishes the wood from within, beeswax protects it on the outside. The wax seals the wood pores, keeps moisture out, and gives the board a soft, matte sheen. The combination of both offers the best protection: first oil, then wax.

Dutch beeswax

Our beeswax comes from Dutch beekeepers and is blended with linseed oil for a smooth, easy-to-spread consistency. Food-safe and without chemical additives.

Suitable for all your wooden kitchen utensils

Works on all types of wood: oak, beech, acacia, bamboo, and olive wood. Ideal for cutting boards, butcher blocks, serving boards, breadboards, and wooden countertops.

Handmade in the Netherlands

TheWootz makes wooden cutting and serving boards in a social workshop in Friesland, where people with a distance to the labor market learn a trade. Our maintenance line is part of this.
